All properties in The Village on Main are approved for as-of-right development since our bylaw changes in 2013. Four projects are currently at different stages of development. This page will provide updates and current photos of each project.

This property is owned by Ford Canada. The vacant dealership on this property was recently demolished. We have not heard from Ford Canada about the future of this property but we do know that it must undergo an environmental clean up before any development takes place. We expect that after the clean up it will be for sale. The property is included in the Main Street area zoning bylaw changes which include restrictions and allowances that can foretell the future of the property to a degree. According to these bylaws, it can not house businesses that are classified automotive, storage, adult entertainment or pawn shops. It can be a mixed-use building, up to 80 feet with retail on the bottom floor, up to three floors of offices above the retail and residential floors above the commercial space.
